Veterans that served in 2 branches of the military, what branch do you consider yourself more of, for example if you did 6 in the Air Force and 4 in the army?

I spent 5 years in the Marines, then 3 years AD Army and am now in the National Guard. I'm very much a proponent of "Once a Marine, always a Marine" but the Army has been a better fit for me. More opportunities, etc. So if I had to pick just one I'd have to side with the Army. But I still credit my time in the Marine Corps for building the foundation that has led to my success in the Army. Plus, it's fun to tell people in the Army that I'm a prior service Marines and see the "Oh crap" look on their face.

I would be interested in this as well, but more so of why, and is it job/age/other based!

I spent 3 years in the US Navy and became a Torpedomans Mate 3rd class, after 6 months at home I joined the Army and served 9 years, left the service as an SSg (promotable), I’m a soldier.

I served 10 years in the Army and 15 in the Coast Guard. I had great experiences in both. I don't consider myself more of one than the other but I probably relate more to the Coast Guard than the Army at this point simply because I served in that last. But I am proud of the service in both.
