Spare the rod, spoil the child! I agree with SSG Follin, too. With parents I work with at school, a huge portion of them are too lax with discipline....they don't want to hurt their child's feeling or they give in because they don't want to deal with the conflict. Our welfare system has helped create entitlement. Able-bodied men and women can make more money reproducing. I could go on and on, but I get really frustrated.
