Weird question but by next year will there be no more fighting in Afghanistan? Also, will Special Forces continue to operate in Afghanistan?

I plan on rejoining next year and want to be in the special forces and I’m wondering if there is anything going on. Not shying away just want to know if I’m going in at a bad time

The last time we pulled out of Afghanistan the Taliban exploded and took over and then Osama bin Laden set up training camps and bombed the twin towers with airline jets. So, where will they hit next time?

US will not ignore Afghanistan after leaving. Likely there will still be personnel there to observe and advise. A carrier will be close by during retrograde. Bombing them back to medieval times will always be an option. Mostly OOTW.
