What Advancements in Technology Do You Think Today's Military Would Most Benefit From?

I think that more emphasis should be placed on Japanese models of efficiency. Such as kaizen. This would streamline a lot of waste in the military and place a significance on production while being lean and flexible.

Focus more on training the skills up then the advance in technology

Compact, long range, anti-personel , one time use ,armed drones, that detonate on impact of an enemy soldier and can be released over the battlefield via larger drone.

Create Rules-based AI systems to replace most staff officer functions. This will allow for a smaller, leaner officer corps that has a much higher tooth to tail ratio.

Over the last 15 years the Military has changed drastically. Before Medically Retiring in 2021 I thought I saw it all. Technology today is advancing rapidly month to month, year to year.
Overall I believe if we use virtual reality simulations to train and prepare our military to defend against any kind of situation.. Like the military pledge to protect and defend the American Way of life
Against All enemies foreign or domestic during wartime or peacetime. I strongly believe the military would benefit greatly. Just maybe during wartime The US Military will not have to sacrifice all for this Great Country. With the Militsry turning to the "The "Fit To Fight". Moto. Which is not only physically and mentally. It is also being prepared just in case our military needs to be called upon at a moments notice. Virtual Reality may give our men and women a fighting case to wo the next war or just to come home safely.
When I was in Iraq we didn't have virtual reality. So at times we we're going in blind, not quite knowing the enemy and the enemies tactics would change and we would lose my brothers and sister of Arms. Get rid of tinnitus. I would think this would be easy.

There cannot be any great advancements when we humans program them. We are all flawed and make mistakes. We need to have the backups that were created years ago to help when the current technology breaks, goes down or is manipulated by our enemy or even ourselves. A good example is sunspots disrupting our communciations, sabatogue or even good old human mistakes. We need reliable backups for each and everything that we use. We have to go forward with the good old yankee know how. We do not need to rely completely on all of our technological advances. We need that good old backup plan. If something happens to the lasers that guide our rockets and missiles to their targets, a backup has to be built in to complete the task. That rocket or missile has to hit it's target for is to win the next big war. With all of Russia's military technology, it is still loosing to a country that acted just like this country did in.1775. Their citizens stepped up and fought off the Russians oppressors.
Lets get real now. Specific advances in technology benefit specific services. The navy has the magnetic advances in new aircraft carrier launches, landing systems. It also is used to bring bombs, rockets and munitions from below to the flight deck for reariming aircraft. Most of the services now use droans and improved droans to scout the enemy, launch weapons to kill the enemy even destroy some of their weapons. CAD is used to help design ships, aircraft and weapons. There is not really any one benefit from today's technology. Today's technology has benefitted each and every service member no matter what the persons rank is and their branch of service

I don't think they need to necessarily advance technology. I would have settled for modern computers, interfaces and sensors instead of incredibly outdated, overpriced and inefficient technology that is at least a decade behind, if not more.
