Technology!!!
I came across this just today about a start-up in the UK that has produced a material that employs lenticular refraction which someday may be applied to not only ships and machinery such as tanks, etc, but to soldier armor. The following is a link for more:

This article also speaks of vanta-black (a black that reflects nearly zero light) as well as other cool and promising technologies.
No. I am not a salesperson. Just a Navy vet interested in science.

Now, UK-based startup Invisibility Shield Co. has come onto the scene with a new product to help you fulfill that dream of becoming invisible… kind of.

This Startup Made a Functioning 'Invisibility Shield'. Here's How It Works
Nearly all of us have wished to be a fly on the wall during a particularly juicy conversation, or disappear into the background after an embarrassing gaffe. It's not surprising that invisibility cloaks are a mainstay of fantasy fiction.

While I share the sentiments of those who have been in longer and personally brought the battle to the front lines who mention moving away from tech reliance and focusing closely on the foundational skills of soldiering and their respective job specialties, I feel that our technological advances in mental health treatment including computer aided desentitization for those suffering from PTSD is a game-changing tool that should be employed more widely and funded liberally. Medicine alone has shown limited success in this arena.

Drones that escape radar and cruise at any speed almost silently.
Whomever controls the sky controls the way to win.

Using technology to assess the intelligence and loyalty of our top generals. It appears that our leading military generals have gone woke and are destroying morale and fighting efficiency of our military personnel. They should be assessed on how they deliver national security, not by ensuring our real war fighters aren't wasting time learning any of the 700 new genders and how to address people who don't know whether they are men or women. It's almost embarrassing to be recognized as a military veteran anymore!

Medical and rehabilitative technologies. They need to decrease death and injuries in the service and increase life-saving and rehabilitative interventions.

Perhaps optics that don't rely on any type of technology or power source otherwise the only technology that I trust is the 1940s and 50s tec that was hardened against nukes because of the 2 we had just dropped a few years ago. Even that is not a good thing to rely on, good old fashioned mountain training and survival skills at least for a month during basic training with no technology .
