What advice can you give for a Fort Benning Assignment to MCOE?

I received orders for Ft Benning at MCOE to be an instructor/cadre for the basic trainees. Has anyone had this assignment and/or know anything about it? School opportunities? What types of cadre jobs? Any advice?

You will most likely be assigned to one of the ranges like Grenades, heavy weapons, night infiltration course, land nav. Easy job! Depending on what range you get, you might have a lot of off time. Most people go there to be slugs and do nothing with there careers. I took the assignment with a goal of crushing every school that I could.

I had that assignment. I went there as a SSG with only a EIB and CIB. I left with airborne, air assault, pathfinder, RSLC and a Ranger tab. It’s a Cush assignment. Get everything out of it you can.

I love Fort Benning, all the schools you want. I am a 19 delta and worked on sandhill.
