Study hard and focus on your work, try to push aside distractions until you graduate, and good luck.

I'm not a 68X, but I would think some cultural differences may exist. I don't know what they are, but I am thinking of a sort of corporate culture difference between departments of the same company. So, I would be aware of what those might be by investigating. If this is going to be a good fit, take into consideration the culture and environment, and not go at this with rose colored glasses. I don't wish to discourage you, but just make sure this fits you and you fit this. Good luck and thanks for your service.

Learn from your instructors. What they've seen and done in this field. When i went through i did my clinical hours at the state hospital and my instructor what a major who was a nurse and she taught me a lot about this field and how to better my interviewing skills. Come to find out, when i got to my first unit at an inpatient psychiatric ward, she was the previous OIC before she moved to the school house to become an instructor. Good luck on your schooling and pay attention because, depending on where you go i.e Inpatient, outpatient or COSC, you very well my need it.
