What advice do you have for someone who strives to be a CID Agent?

I strive to become a CID Agent. I currently fulfill all the requirements to drop my packet. I'm looking for guidance and advice. If you are or were in the career field, what is something that you would've or would've not done differently? Any thoughts or ideas are welcome.

Listen and learn from those who have been in the career.

As far as things I would have done different, I can’t answer that. Every mistake is a learning opportunity.
