What advice do you have on choosing between my re-enlistment options of 14E,14G, and 14T? What should I expect from AIT at Fort Sill?

I'm a prior service SSG who is re-enlisting. I was given the 3 options stated above and I know absolutly nothing about ADA. Just looking for advice on which of these to pick. Also wondering what I should expect from AIT at Fort Sill. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The air defense world is going to be a lot different from the infantry world. AIT shouldn’t be too difficult, but it will get heavy on technical information.
Af for which MOS to choose, if you go 14T you’re going to be working on PATRIOT launchers. You’ll be doing maintenance, emplacement, and reload operations. 14E are the guys you sit in the Engagenent stations and watch the scope, and work with the radar. Either one of these will also give you the option of getting involved with THAAD, the new air defense system that is getting emplaced worldwide.
14G will deal with communications, networks, and data links. You’ll work with sentinel radar and avenger operations, which is about to be a top priority in the Army, to satellite communications, tactical networks, and datalink management. With this MOS, you also won’t be limited to only air defense units, as most BCTs and Division headquarters have a handful of 14G on hand to help them run airspace operations.
I’m already a 14G, and with those options I’d pick my MOS again. If you have questions or want more info, let me know.

If you do go into Ada 14e and 14t only have like 4 duty stations in garrison and 4 oconus. Also most patriot units morale are low due to the fact of the higher rank e5 and above reclassify to these mos and try to treat it like infantry world and that’s not how it’s supposed to be. You’ll get to a unit and more likely you’ll have an e4 who knows everything about the job but doesn’t wanna promote or re-enlist due to this. I was a 14 I did one term, and only met 1 E6 who actually knew his job and because of this he was an excellent platoon sergeant, mentor, and teacher. Just be open minded is all.

Yeah I had seen about duty station's but I am ok with that due to me looking to apply for OCS or WOCS in the not to far future I have thought about this and it kind of bothers me being forced to reclass into an mos as an e6 that I know nothing about. But I'm definitely not that typical combat arms NCO. While I expect discipline I am extremely laid back and treat soldiers like adults until given a reason not to.

Being a 14T is the most active job in ADA. AIT isn’t intense by any means but, it is definitely a job you gotta study to pass but it’s easy overall.

I’m a 14T (stuck in AIT with holdover status due to an injury) and if there was an option for me to do anything over, go 14E if you want to work with the Patriot missiles. Then go THAAD. However we only have 4 duty station CONUS and even so most people are being sent to Korea

I was medically reclass due to injury to 14G in 2013. I was a combat engineer for 13 years before that. It was the best thing it ever happened to me. As 14G I have done incredible things for professional and personal development, the branch really focus on NCOPD. My recommendation is of course 14G, but I am biased.

Don’t do 14E or 14T! I’m an E and sill sucks ass! No tabacco, energy drinks, no caffeine at all, no vape or nicotine. Zero freedoms! Like BCT all over!

That is how ALL ait's are structured these days. You don't get to adult until you get to your first unit.

Go 14G you'll be put in BDE where ever unit you go too. You do not want 14E nor 14T. I was 14T then was crossed trained as 14H and 25U lol.

Are you more hands on? Or more interested in the technician side of things? If hands on, go Tango, if not look at 14E or 14G.

Ok. I'd definitely say I'm more hands on. I will say I am planning on applying for OCS in the near future, but if OCS doesn't work out. Which of these would possibly set me up the best to apply for warrant later on down the road?

So as an OCS graduate, you are not necessarily going to be rebranched in the same branch you are in. That said, if you are looking for warrant, there are two kinds for Air Defense. The first being 140A, which is a tactics warrant. Tactics is more the lane of 14E. The other side is 140E which is maintenance and deals with the overall maintenance of Air Defense equipment, to include downrange operations, or 14T land.
