This is definitely very cool and I think it's good news, but I also want to go deeper into this topic and say that this application is very often used by students and therefore it is worth talking about the Linux application for academic writers. Hard to make a case for that if by DOS you mean Windows CLI commands.
1. Linux uses different CLI commands from Windows, though some commands work in both OS families
2. Windows 10 includes OpenSSH which enables using Linux terminal commands
3. It would depend on how and how much the Linux user administers Windows machines.
