PCS Time is coming up, and I have been discussing with my career counselor possible assignments. I noticed 2 available that really stuck out; Israel and Egypt (MFO).

Has anyone done either of these? How was it? I am a 68W if it changes anything

I was there in ‘12-‘13 at South Camp. We had a lot of lock downs on that tour due to the fighting between the two countries, so I was only able to go out in the local town a handful of times but I was able to spend 4 days in Israel. That, in itself was worth the whole tour. I’m sure a lot has changed since. South camp is on the Red Sea shore. It is some beautiful water. Crystal clear, amazing coral reef and plenty of ocean life swimming around. South camp had a good many things to do to stay busy in your down time. If I could get a tour in either place, it’s be great but I’d most definately take an Israel tour over Egypt...... GOOD LUCK

Once my career counselor comes back I am going to see if I can make any of these happen. Thank you!

I would love to visit Israel and learn their culture. They are quite dedicated in many endeavors.
