What are my chances of getting Command Sponsorship for Camp Carroll?

Command sponsorship to Korea is easier to come by than it was a few years ago especially to Camp Carroll. Due to the fact that it has just now been ok for families to come to Camp Carroll i'm sure many are trying to do it if they are on PCS orders as oppose to TCS orders. i'm not sure if there is a definite or a concrete answer as to how soon you can have an answer. Just start the process now and link up with a sponsor already there to walk you through the process of what you will need. In general, only a fraction of people who get stationed in Korea will receive sponsorship, and it is very much based on rank. (they just changed the program to favor "mission essential personnel" which basically means rank - luckily not everyone wants to bring their families, so that does open up some slots to others)
