So I was told this past weekend at drill that i basically had 2 AT's this coming somer. One is for two weeks and the other is for about a month. I was given a packing list and was told by the 1st Sgt that if I was not issued anything, to highlight them. I did as instructed being that I haven't been issued a good handful of item since i got to my unit in 2015. I gave that list to my tean leader, who in turn gave it to the supply Sgt. I was called into his office and told that I signed a clothing record in 2016 saying I had everything. Though I was told at then by my squad leader at the time to sign it and he would make sure i was taken care of, knowing that he and the supply Sgt knew I was not issued certain items. I did nkt sign in 201u knowing I was mossing items and was told to do tgis time around. Now I am told I may be lucky to get a tent, but not anything else. So what are my chances of any of this getting fixed?

I know it sucks, but if you signed for this there's a huge chance you will be billed for this. IMO, i would buy everything missing online, make sure to buy the correct equipment with matching NSN, this way you know you bought the correct one.

Damn tough since you lied on the inventory sheet- it can be assumed that you lost the missing equipment and will be charged to replace it. Better get that SL and supply SGT together and see how friendly they want to be.

I didnt intentionally lie, was told to sign it and that would get handled. But it would be hard to take money from my drill check I believe since ot all goes towards child ayllort for my daughter. Either way im trying to get it fixed.

Bottom line , which you missed- YOU signed official equipment records stating that said items were in your possession. NO ONE can force you to sign nor make a false statement- Making false statements is lying, or perjury- your choice of words. JAG would haul you up on charges for either. It doesn't matter about the money- If they process a statement of charges against you they WILL get the money- even if it means turning the debt over to the IRS- because that is what it is a debt to the Government.

You can appeal to your Suply SGT again but if that does not work then you can ask your buddies if they have extras you could have to make up the shortages. You can approach your Commander and explain what happened and maybe she/he could “write those things off”. If you are a great Troop and have a excellent attendance and training record it makes that decision a little easier.

Lesson learned though, right?
