What are my options for going active duty and how should I go about pursuing serving in the RA?

I am currently serving in the Army Reserve and am wanting to go active duty. I submitted my DD368 back in January and have only heard that my brigade commander may not approve it. Along with this, my unit is an RFX unit which to my knowledge complicates things. What are my options and how should I go about pursuing serving in the RA?
