What are my options if the 70D Consultant recommended a direct commission at a rank different than the scroll/board?

Hello everyone,
Just found out I have been selected to direct commission 70D. Excited to start the journey and deeply honored to have the opportunity.
There is a wrinkle I wanted to bounce off this community for feedback:
Prior to the selection board my resume was reviewed by the 70D consultant. The consultant came back with "qualified, recommended, rank at appointment 0-2". As background, I have a Masters in Health Informatics, A Masters in Health Administration and 10+ years of healthcare management and consulting experience (including healthcare IT).
Somehow, between when the consultant review was performed and the Board selection, this changed to rank at appointment of 0-1. My AMEDD recruiter (who has otherwise been great) has not given me any answers to this that make sense. The only explanation offered has been along the lines of "The Army has no way to know for sure that you will stay in that AOC and therefore will not commission you 1LT". As I am personally aware of other 70D's who direct commissioned 1LT, this seems either very odd or very new.
What are your thoughts? Do I have any recourse to get someone else in the process to weigh in?
Thank you in advance. Any and all feedback highly appreciated!

Sorry as 70 series we do not get DC or get constructive credit for anything higher than a 2LT
unlike our cyber partners that have a pathway to 1LT as DC.
Also I can tell you for a fact that 70D do not direct commission to 1LT. If you have buddies that you are aware of getting it, I don't think this might not be the case or they got commissioned on a different branch and moved over.
If this is the case, this would be news to me because I had a direct inquiry to both my Branch Manager and HRC about it and they all came back to me that no matter if you were highly qualified on your CV review , had your masters and had over 10 years experience in both health care IT and executive management and they informed me there is no constructive credit or direct commission to 70D as a 1LT. ( This is direct communication with HRC and not by the recruiter).
If your buddies can pass on their process, I would like to know because then formally a bunch of us 70D's that got DC as 2LT would put additional inquiries about it as this means HRC is telling a lot of us one thing and another to others.

This is not true. I commissioned as a 1LT in 2019. You may receive a constructive credit for your education.

CPT Enrique M. There are opportunities to get a DC to 1LT only as a 70D but it is a truly "it depends".

LTC (Join to see) - has changed since I commissioned 5 years ago. Our branch manager up to 2 years ago said this wasn't the case.

It could have changed but I think a lot has to do with the Consultant recommendations, board members, and even people at Recruiting Command. Unfortunately it is not standardize. I can remember officers coming in as a 1LT even 15 years ago.

Nope I DC as a 2LT .. There is no DC appointment to 1LT as a 70D .. in the AMEDD world only those that are clinical get constructive credit.
Non AMEDD commission as a 1LT but only in Cyber.
Non AMEDD commission as a 1LT but only in Cyber.
