SPC (Join to see) take your handy dandy CAC card and login to FMS web.

You can run a query by MOS and see where the slots are. https://fmsweb.fms.army.mil/unprotected/splash/

Normally Branch managers don’t communicate with New Soldiers in AIT. They usually instruct them to discuss their concerns with their Drill Sergeant/Platoon Sergeant. Once you receive your assignment instructions communicate your questions and concerns with your NCO as well as ask for guidance. As far as assignments for 36Bs, your MOS has no limitations as far as duty assignments. Hopefully you’ll find out soon where your first assignment will be. Good luck to you...

Literally everywhere. Every post, brigade, almost every duty station has finance.

What are some possible duty stations for a 36B, Financial Management Tech?

Ask your Drill Sergeants/Instructors, they will know of most of them... Once you get to your first assignment as those are generally pre-determined, call your branch NCO and ask them what is available, what schools you might be able to take en route - yes, free schools without enlistment options (timing is everything and be damn good at your job)!

Remember, the old saying, “The Squeaky Wheel Always It Gets First!” - just don’t be a pain-in-the-ass...

In Fort Jackson where you are at the 81st Readiness Division (RD). They're expending due to transition from tactical to operational. You'd be very welcome. Contact their HHC at " [login to see] ".
