Everything taught in the 4 month academic phase (8 hours a day, 5 days a week of college level courses) is algebra based. Basic physics, thermodynamics, and electrical theory will be taught during that phase as well.

Thank you SFC Stinson, I'll look into the subjects aside from math to brush up on, as I'm already looking into the algebra/trig books again to get into "math mode" prior to school. I appreciate it.

I start school in August. I've checked out some books to brush up on math; Algebra, Trig and Calc books. Are there any other recommended materials to study or brush up on prior to school to give myself an edge or jumpstart into the mindset of the subject? If that makes sense? I've checked out the recommended materials from the usace site as well, but not all found, and most were hard copies only printed out. Has anyone found other sources easier that helped? Is the calc book too much?
