What are some suggestions on getting more veterans and active duty members into Sponsor a Vet Life Program that have PTSD, TBI, MST, or that are severely disabled?

COL Mikel J. Burroughs, You know I'm seeking the same understanding. Let me share what a civilian view looks like from the outside looking in. Ten years ago there were just over 500 VSO's registered in the U.S.
Today, there are over 45,000. In the last 12 months, several of the most TRUSTED VSO's have come under investigation for their fiscal policies. Plain English, they were not doing what they claimed. 40% of a budget being spent on executive entertainment, not on Veterans!
On a daily basis, veterans are being hit with entitlements offered by VSO's that are under-funded or just pain ripping off our veterans. Who would you TRUST? Unfortunately, that hurts people and companies like yours and mine who are actually offering a value to veterans. We just get lumped in without a look.
What you and Ilene are doing with Sponsor A Vet Life, for people suffering, is a true value. So my long winded answer is persistence. Eventually, the veteran community will learn they can TRUST private industry to provide value because we will still be here when the VSO's self-cannibalize.
Keep up the great work you are doing.
