Infantry can be cross trained to do any job that's my reasoning but I have been wrong before n I don't know everything

That is blatantly not true. A grunt that is cross trained and competent is usually great in whatever they are cross trained to do. But believing that all grunts can be cross trained into another MOS...there is a reason other MOSs have higher ASVAB requirements.

How do you make an Infantryman without other MOSs? I've yet to see an unpaid, unarmed, ununiformed, unequipped, unevaluated (medically) grunt. That sounds like a civilian with an "I served" t-shirt to me. Good luck getting to theater without pilots.

As a dental specialist besides teaching oral hygiene assisting in checkups taking x-rays I assisted in oral facial reconstruction of traum from training accidents to combat wounds. I agree with the Major no useless MOS just useless soldiers.

I may be biased but I have got to say that THE most important job is Air Force pilot. They get you to the battlefield, they put precision munitions on target on the first pass. But we do need professional bullet catchers.
