I think the old barracks are long gone. Haven't been there since ETS in 1999.

When I was last there in 2010 most people had the new barracks with the single rooms adjoined by a shared kitchen and bathroom so basically the same as having a roommate in a 2 bedroom apartment definitely not a terrible living arrangement but when you get that E6 Clarksville is a decent area to live in

They were outstanding when I was an Infantryman there in 1982 (enlisted)... I imagine they must great, today!

Barracks life at Campbell, like pretty much any post, is what you make of it. Barracks quality and arrangement varies greatly across the post. I am not sure what 526's barracks are like. Most units have the typical alcohol restrictions and CQ that you will find in the majority of barracks.
As of about 3 years ago when I retired BOSS was well-funded and had a great deal of activities and resources, however they were not very active in recruiting or advertising. You had to actively go seek info about them and their activities.
DFACs also vary greatly, and they like to play DFAC roulette as to which ones will be open. The PX is more than adequate for stocking comfort items.

The Special Forces and SOAR barracks are nice. You have your own room with a shared kitchenette and bathroom with 1 person.

Majority of the time for some reason there are no sponsors. Technically the wrong answer, but it just does not seem to happen. From my experience at-least.
