What are the best duty stations/assignments/positions for a newly promoted MI SSG?

I am currently in an INSCOM unit and am being told I am going back to FORSCOM, what do you consider to be the best stations/positions for a new E6 in the MI Corp.
Im trying to prepare for the Assignment satisfaction Key - Enlisted Marketplace to go live in June for MI and bid on somewhere i would like to go.

It's really up to you. Not saying you're job is the same everywhere, but essentially your job is the same everywhere. Unless you can score a group support slot somewhere. Just remember when switching commands, you're OPTEMPO is going to change. You're not going to access to systems like you're use to. But if you're looking for duty stations, I'd say go to Ft. Campbell (101st), that was my first duty station. But I'd suggest you look into Germany, Italy and Hawaii. Go from INSCOM to EUCOM/PACOM, makes you more competitive when up for E7 and for Warrant

In that case, go EUCOM. If you're going FORSCOM, pick somewhere close to home or somewhere that's close to a nightlife/great outdoors life. All divisions have their pluses and minuses

SSG (Join to see) - Correct, submit what you got. I think they are kind of hurting right now for SM's. I had a great time at WHCA, DC not so much lol. But all in all I think it was a great career boost.

If your concern is being competitive for promotion, go 82nd airborne, with 101 being a close second.
Either will get you GREAT tactical time (as will 10th MTN, to be honest). But there is so much on Bragg with a "special" flavor that if you stand out amongst your peers, you will have opportunities to do "cool guy" stuff which enhances your profile. There is some of that on Campbell, as well, and in my opinion, the "standard" units are a hair better than Bragg. But that's just my opinion, and I'm sure every maroon beret everywhere is about to excoriate me for saying so.
All that being said, for the most part, tactical time is tactical time. Concentrate on being the best possible leader you can be, on using those analytical skills you acquired at INSCOM, and teaching your Soldiers everything you know. It won't matter WHERE you are near as much as WHAT you are doing.

Go to a COCOM if you haven't already. Get some joint time under your belt.

Double tapping this. Working at AFRICOM and being able to actually do something with a real world impact and get truly world class training and mentorship was immeasurable to my growth as an analyst and unmatched by anything available in FORSCOM.

Unless its changed I was at Ft Huachuca and all my MI friends loved it. Not really sure as far as the duty part of it. But I've never heard anyone complain

If you can't get a CCMD JIOC like SFC (Join to see) suggested, it'll depend on your goals. If it's growth as an NCO and doing "Army things," go to 10th MTN, 82nd ABN, or 101st. If you can go to an SF Group, going as a junior SSG is probably the latest you want to go.
Alternatively, you can go SFAB, deploy, and get cool schools, but the lack of junior Soldiers may deprive you of opportunities to get experience as a mentor for SGTs and junior enlisted. In previous posts, you've mentioned interest in going Warrant Officer, so a lot of it will depend on your long term goals. If you want to go 350F, almost every initial assignment is in a BCT, and if you haven't been in a BCT in a leadership position, pick and choose a division on the patch chart and try to score a deployment that'll set you up for success to further your career in that route.

Not having Soldiers won't necessarily set him up for a lack of leadership opportunities. You can be in charge of Airmen, Marines, Sailors, and sometimes even a civilian or two that you can supervise at a joint assignment.

The 116th MI BDE more specifically the PED BN. You would be do 35f stuff and the SSG here are the NCOIC’s of the mission room’s
