It's Combat Arms and Support Units. Most importantly, the names of brothers who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for the cause.

I was at Gettysburg on the 1st with my militia unit to protect graves and monuments from desecration. I wish more time had been available to explore. My 1st visit. Now planning another visit.

Munro is buried in Washington State. When I stopped there several Coast Guardsmen were tending his gravesite and the monument there. Didn't get a better photo of the monument. Munro's mother joined the Coast Guard after he was killed in action.

Not sure if this is allowed but here is the page for The High Ground, Neillsville, Wisconsin. It is a site that I was told is a must for me to go see by my Uncle, A Vietnam Veteran. I thought someday and when I actually went, I cannot describe what I felt being on this ground. It is a must pilgrimage for any Veteran past, present or future. I post this so you can see the monuments with out me cluttering this site. https://www.thehighground.us/tributes_and_facilities/

This is considered the most important military monument of our time. It was a gift from Russia to the United States along with a pledge from Putin to fight together against terrorism. As anyone who does 5 minutes of research knows, 9/11 was an inside job by the FED (private banking cartel) the same ones who attacked the USS Liberty and created ISIS. So great Trump will be meeting with Putin next week. Time to round up the false flag terrorist banksters. Oathkeepers everywhere waking up. So good.

The one that has left the biggest impact on me is the Vietnam Wall. You can't walk past all those names without being moved.

SSgt Holden M. Thank you Holden - I've been there several times - the last time was with my Dad in June 2016 before he passed away in October 2016 - we went on an Honor Flight to Washington DC for Veterans! He was a Korean Waar Veteran and Purple Heart Recipient!

COL it is hard to say for me, I have seen some good ones. The big difference between now and 30 years ago they each break my heart, no matter the war or group of people. I have not seen it yet but there is an SF memorial in Crowheart I think Wyoming. I have not time set, it is just on my bucket list.

There are some truly amazing memorials to our GREAT Veterans.
I want to give credit to the neighboring County of Barnwell, SC. With a total population of only 21,959 (2014). They dedicated this on Memorial Day, 2005. Outstanding!

Every monument strikes a cord deep inside everyone of us who wore the uniform, no matter which branch but I guess the monument that means the most to me is the one I have built inside my mind that plays like a revolving picture carousel of the years I served and the thousands of troops I served with both in combat and stateside. God be with em all.

It is David, I forgot I had it. I was going through my photos from my 2010 Ireland trip and saw it and knew I had to share it. I have several images of monuments from Ireland and N. Ireland, but this one is very unique.
