I'm looking for a reliable Pedometer Watch to record heart rate, walking steps, calories burned, distance when running, countdown, chronograph, etc. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Thanks SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL I will be doing some research on the Apple Watch here shortly.

Garmin, great GPS accuracy, awful battery life, and I mean number of recharges. Went through two 310s. Costs $70 plus shipping to get a new battery installed. Wasn't satisfied. Bought a Motorola. Loved it. They just pulled assets away from that segment of their business, and left the software to die. Now I run with a Tom Tom HR music, paired with wireless headphones. No wires = better burpees.

Thank you for sharing that information. I'm still doing research on one that I can eventually purchase soon.

I use a combination of FitBit and Garmin, with the Strava app. For everyday counting I use FitBit Charge HR or the One depending on whether I need my wrists clear. When I run, I use the Garmin 35 which is the least expensive stand-alone GPS watch. I have the Garmin pushing data to Garmin Connect, which then pushes data to FitBit and Strava. FitBit is my system of record for daily step count, sleep hours, and other 24/7 data. Strava is where I track my runs and other high intensity workouts.

MSG Robert Prol I will be checking out a whole handful to see what works best for me. I always wanted one to record data so this will be a good time to start my research on them. Thanks for sharing.

CPT Jacob Swartout - I have the Fitbit Surge - which has GPS - but is way too large and the rubber wrist band falls apart where attached to metal parts within a year or so - and you can get it replaced within warranty period - but this is sad waste of time and annoying. Otherwise it works quite well. My friends have FitBit Charge HR - which is quite often on sale - and quite often even cheaper when sold like new as "refurbished" product - have cheap replaceable bands - and work quite well. Warmest Regards, Sandy :)
I am happy with my Garmin Vivosmart HR. I've had it since November.

SPC Elijah J. Henry, MBA Thank you, I will be looking forward the Garmin and compare the features on other pedometers. Is it reasonably priced compared to competition?

CPT Jacob Swartout I was comfortable with the price point, but I did get it on a black Friday/cyber Monday sale.

If you have the money and are an Apple person, then the Apple Watch is a must. As far as the Android side of the house, I have only had the opportunity to use the Fit Bit Charge HR. The Fit Bit in my honest opinion was a decent product. That being said, the Charge HR was not very a rugged product and broke within a year of use.

PO2 Franklin Brown Thanks for the insight on the Apple Watch and Fit Bit Charge HR. A few other people mentioned the Apple Watch so I will for sure do some research on this one. We have an Apple Store downtown for me to visit too.
