So I've been approved for a 68V reclass and I've re-enlisted for a school date in early June. I've done a bit of research and it is a little overwhelming (especially since I'm not the quickest study in math). Can anyone give me some specific topics other than math to really dive into? Anatomy is obvious and already on my checklist but as for the rest... well, I'm looking to earn high marks so the more the prep the better!

I am in the school now. Don’t start cramming anything at all. They will teach you everything the way it will be tested. Your first few months here will be college. So whatever you have now just know you will redo it. If you wanna focus on anything I would focus on properly performing your apft. They will grade to the standard. Put your effort into that and you’ll be fine. The rest will come when you get here.

You don’t even need to do that. A lot of these classes aren’t full classes. They are geared more towards resperatory. I’d hit the brakes completely. They even say when you get here not to dig into stuff because they will give you all the material needed. I did the same thing and I wish I didn’t. They literally give you everything. You can message me if you want and ask away I can tell you anything you want.

Thanks for the advice. I myself am in the process of reclassified into the 68V mos and am not a very fast learner...How is it for prior service ET SGT's? Barracks? I'm not going to the promotion board so I can Enlist in this mod even though I completed ALC a year ago.

You will live in the barracks. They leave you alone for the most part. They do random checks but that’s more for the no alcohol policy in the barracks. You will be a SGT but at the same time you won’t. It’s for a short period of time. You’ll be fine. It’s worth it in the end. SSG (Join to see)

That's crazy, no alcohol policy for prior service! Is it private one room barracks or 2 per room? I'm in an apartment now so I'm wondering what im going to do with all my items here that's in my house. Do prior service have to do ruck marches and other things IET soldiers are required to do?Is it like college in a medical mos school?

Don’t cram to hard now. Because the way they teach you and prepare you will be enough. It’s gonna be a waterfall of information and knowledge. But you can do it. The beginning classes don’t worry about. It’s the actual respiratory stuff to worry about. Because some classes will overlap. Learning one studying for another.

So I just graduated my Tech school recently and In my opinion there’s really no way to prepare for the courses other than just taking the course itself and studying. The instructors give you everything you need in order to be successful in your career field. Best of luck to you and I hope I was able to help you.
