Recognizing your team members and utilizing their expertise in way that challenges them or inspire them to become leaders as well.

This would be someone who shows strong leadership in the way they carry them selves and the way they talk with the staff, handle issues large and small with a satisfying result in the end.

.This person should not be afraid to get their hands dirty, staff tend to respect a boss that gets down in the trenches and actually helps in a pinch.

A strong leader delegates jobs and or tasks to their subordinate, but before they can delegate they need to know their subordinates jobs and skill set. This is the only way they can match that particular task to the right person. Another way to know you have a strong leader is the productivity of that area has improved, job satisfaction is up, job retention is at a high. This list can go on n on.

There is so much more to being a strong leader, this is just the tip of the iceberg

I’d like to address the topic of the best traits in an authentic leader as this:

- A True Leaders willingness to share their greatness in a way that allows their team to become so strong and essentially handle anything that comes their way!! Leadership is not about holding “control” close to the best, but sharing, mentoring and molding your teams into the best that they can be. If an entire team eventually transitions into successful leadership roles, that’s a hot sign that they had the best mentor they could have asked for!!

- True Leaders offer confidence, security in their subordinates opinions and strength in being a role model for the team.

- True Leaders are consistent in their approach and possess a strong commitment to their mission, their team and undying efforts in achieving success!!

I believe a good leader is someone who knows the “job” inside out. They are able and willing to jump in where needed to train others or to perform duties when needed. Should have good social skills to know how to treat people in their command. How to be empathetic with needs of others to help them to be productive workers. Good at keeping people motivated and moral high. People need to want to come to work daily because no one wants to in reality. Authentic Leaders should be unbiased…all in command should be treated equally! No one should have to be shamed at work or be put on a pedestal above others.
