What are the chances of being able to reclass when I get released from the MS National Guard?

I’ve recently submitted a a conditional release form to go active duty. What are my chances of being able to reclass to 11B and possibly get an airborne contract?

Really easy to go Infantry. Airborne won’t always happen unless you get an 18X contract or Ranger.

Had guys that did it when i went through in 2013 from NG they all had SF contracts though. Many if them just wanted to be 11b airborn so they failed out of selection on purpose. I dont know if that would still work or not. To be honest if you do get an option 40 or SF you should take it regular 11B is 90% suck for 10% fun.

Not anymore. Guys coming into the Pipeline now (even the 18X guys) go to Selection before anything else (saves the Army money on schools they aren't earning)

SPC (Join to see) - You want it you dream it you will get it especially 82nd Airborne and Ft. Bragg. Dude you will love Bragg I went back a few years ago with a wounded warrior Ranger/Sniper and saw Gary Sinise and his band play there. Don't mess with the SF guys I was one of them. They are your friends.

The recruiter only told me I might have some say so in my duty station seeing as in prior service
