What are the current regulations on pregnant Marines (or soldiers, sailors, or airmen)?

Is there an order or regulation regarding the number of hours a pregnant Marine can work per week? What about participation in mandatory unit PT after the first trimester?

Sgt Melinda Enfinger It's been a while since your question, so I'm not sure if you've found the answer you wanted, but yes, there are regs on PT and pregnancy for Marines. In fact a recent MARADMIN just extended the recovery time following delivery before the first required PFT.

As above depends on stage of pregancy and if high risk. A DR will set all that during visits. Most units/post also have a program setup for pregnant soldiers to do PT while they are and after they havethe baby.

In the Navy, pregnant Sailors are exempt from PT and PFA both during pregnancy and 6 months after delivery. There is no regs for working hour limits, that would up to the Doc decide.

Are pregnant women still transferred off any ship deploying as they were when I was in? No CO wanted to have the worry about medical care, so pregnant women never went with.
I know lots of other things have changed since I retired, so maybe this has too...
