What are the most important factors that influence the career choices of Military Service Members or Veterans once exiting the Military?

SFC Edward Nicholson I moved to Pasadena, Texas when I was discharged. I knew I could find a good job, go to a good college, and once I had my degree, go to work at Johnson Space Center in Houston.

Location, location, and location. Their future employer; the type of work, and what their family desires regarding their future. All of these are important to the former SM.
