What are the pros and cons of Nuclear Medical Science Officer (72A)? Any advice?

Wouldn't you rather commission as a biochemist? Radiation seems a stretch for your education and interest.

Hello I am a prior service 68k, I spent most of my entire military career in LRMC. I currently hold a M.S. in biochemistry an A.S. in medical technology and over 12 years of professional experience, also I'm currently working as a civilian chemist for the DoD at the GS 12 level . I'm looking into getting back into the army as an officer either as 72a or other related MOS. just looking for some feedback please
