In the old WW2 barracks back in the 70's, the state line passed right thru my room. Off post, you can live either place, unless you're barracks living, then you're gonna be where the barracks is.

There's plenty to do at Campbell, both family activities and things you can do on your own. Plenty of historical places to visit, and the area continues to grow and grow. I've honestly though of relocating to the Clarksville area just because it's so much fun and a nice place to live.

Also, there'll be an inner feeling of pride that comes from serving with the 101st. It's a great opportunity to do the things to make your career better, and be enthused about it.

There is a ton to do both on and off post. Nashville is 40 minutes away, Bowling Green a little farther, as well as Land Between the Lakes. The post is nice and traffic isn't bad. Depending on what unit you are assigned really changes how you will enjoy the 101st. Just stay out of trouble and you'll have a good time.

If you like outdoors then you will love the campbell area, if you are a city boy then you may have to drive a bit. But nashville is right down the road and there is plenty to do there. I was stationed there for 9 years and im trying to go back, i loved it there.
