So I'm about to go to for Benning for airborne school (4-5 weeks out) and I'm curious what the PT requirements are, I know the PT test which I don't struggle with, but I'm hearing alot about pull ups, I got some sweet noodle arms lol and I lack the ability to do the 6 pull ups I'm hearing of, and I'm not sure If there are alternate tests or what might have you, any insight?

It seems to vary from company to company down at airborne school. The PT test is a standard of the school though. However, I went over 10 years ago. So I am fairly certain that some things may have changed. If the PT test is how I remember it, it is in a gravel pit area and you place your hands for the push-up event on a wooden bar. Once you completed the minimum requirements, the cadre told you to get up. There was no opportunity to get a 300+ score or some sort of iron soldier competition. Not like it should really matter for this basic course. You have students of all different ranks from all walks of the military and all variations of time in service. You may even have a SGM or high ranking officer in your class too. Nonetheless, do not stress about it too much. If you do not succeed in something while you are in that course, you will have other opportunities. Best of luck to you.

PT is required in Airborne School. Work on your pull ups and let them decide if you are good enough.
