Keep your head down thru your swing. Also, check your stance and grip. If continues, get a lesson from the professional. Couple of lessons will make your day at the course much enjoyable!

+1 to a lesson or two from a professional. It is almost impossible for you to figure out what is not right without a set of eyes watching you swing. Really not very expensive investment with a big payoff

U have to look at ball position, feet and a big one people do is over swinging causing the clubface not to be square on impact due to your body is ahead of your arms..

The best advice I got was instead of gripping the club, then addressing the ball, was to setup, feet parallel to the target, place the club on the ground with the head in the direction of the target, reach down with the right hand and place it under your left (If right handed). That causes the left shoulder to be above the right, and would encourage a draw. Good Luck

Best COA is obviously to get a lesson from a pro as a slide can come from a multitude of things in the swing, grip, stance, ball placement etc. A trick I learned that really helped my game was "K Bombing". Google it. If everything else is solid (swing plane, ball position, grip), the K position really helps open the hips up through the swing and align the face at impact. It generates power and helps avoid the slice.
