I'm spending about a hour a day in my car and radio sucks around here so I'm hoping to start making this wasted time constructive. Military related content is good, especially as leadership related content, but as a future healthcare provider (PT) I'm also interested in performance optimization, physical rehabilitation, psychology, healthcare research, etc. I'm also a huge beer and movie nerd.

The Leaders Huddle podcast is an excellent resource for company grade officers, as it covers extremely relevant topics such as CSDP, properly applying the PRT program, FLIPL investigations, the PL/PSG relationship, and so much more.

I"m a big fan of Craig Johnson's Longmire series and James Rollins Sigma Force series. These are good for guys and gals. Some others I like, not so much. :D I spend at least 2 hours a day in my car. I love audiobooks!

Adam Carolla Show podcast is a good one to listen too. He talks about all kind of different topics health, news and life topics. He's funny plus makes you think differently about things.

Anything from Graphic Audio. They're expensive because they hire cast people for every character, there are entire background sounds and effects, and the production values are very high. These are by far the best audiobooks you can get. I wish Audible would pick them up, or start doing what they do.

The only one I seem to have to listen to is Bryan Suits of KFI radio "Dark Secret Place". He's an exMIL who has a pretty good network of people keeping him current on world military affairs and has an interesting insight as to what's going on. My wife plays it because I stopped talking the UNCLAS version of stuff going on some time ago, so he's the surrogate. Only one out there in media saying the assassination of Kim's brother with VX was a purposeful statement by NK. Always an interesting logic chain and food for thought. You just have to suffer through the drone of the opening and commercials.

Sir, trying to help you get a good start in your career. You can be a scifi nerd, computer nerd, comic book nerd, a movie nerd, even a leadership book memorizing nerd. Never however can nerd and beer be in the same sentence unless its something like "While you nerds try to save the galaxy, I'm going to go drink some beer.
Also, my favorite podcast, what got me started on the whole podcast thing, Hardcore History by Dan Carlin. I'm kind of an history nerd though. However, I love beer and enjoy scratching things while drinking it!
