I would have to agree each installation is what you make it. However, Bragg was my least favorite (maybe it has something to do with the Bragg mafia) and Campbell was the best.

You are lucky you were in the Air Force at McGuire AFB. You guys lived like kings compared to the shithole barracks at Fort Dix. I spent my last 8 months in the active Army at Dix. When I arrived, I was on the fence whether I wanted to stay active duty. After about a month, I said the hell with it, got out, and went to college. I rotted away at Dix with nothing to do.
