Stay as far from Ft. Will, OK as possible. That place is a black hole and if you love the Army you will hate it after being there. Notice all the ones that say nowhere is a bad duty station.... All Brass.

Fort Drum, what can I say about update New York. By far the best duty station ever, you are never there. I was stationed there for three years. Straight up gone for almost two years. When I was at either in the field, preparing to go somewhere and Mondays are for the motor pool. It definitely beats Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC), setting up and tearing down So & So's retirement ceremony, conducting the APTF during the entire month of October and April or some other important task that needs to be completed. In addition, there were so many officers running around, that someone could have made a disability claim on the right shoulder from saluting all the time. We are not going to even describe the personalities types that called themselves Officers.

As a DA Civilian I spent a week once at the Tank Automotive Command (TACOM) in Warren, MI. The longest week of my life. I was enroute to my next assignment at Fort Monmouth, NJ. I had never been to Fort Monmouth, but knew it could not be the worst assignment in the Army, as I was already there. In uniform I was deployed to RAF Wethersfield in the U.K. It was in the middle of no where and the facilities were rotten.
