Ft Irwin, Ft Polk (other than being five hours from New Orleans), Ft Carson (beautiful but cold as hell most of the year), Camp Shelby MS and Gowen Field ID; though ultimately a post really is what you make of it...

I went to BNCOC at Gowen Field. It is in Boise, Idaho. Boring litttle place, but nice people.

MSG David Harris - I did many an AT there when I was with 3-116 Cavalry, and spent more than my share at Humpin' Hannah's and Merrit's in Boise. Barren as hell, but good training, and yes, the folks are pretty nice. My younger sister lives there now and she really likes it.
