The main problem isn't the post. It's the population outside the post that doesn't like soldiers for the most part.

I truly disliked Ft Jackson with all that's in me I am a army brat lived at Ft.Lewis loved it. I have been station times in Germany as a child and also with my husband loved being in Hanau. But Ft Lewis is sweet home
