All posts are what you make it, good and bad. Ft Hood twice, Baumholder Germany once, 10 months in Bosnia, wasn't that bad either.

While I didn't always want to "go there", I quickly found the "things" to like about the Assignment. With 30 yrs on Active Duty, I've spent a lot of time, in a lot of places. Loved my time (almost 10 yrs) in Germany! "On Vacation" everyday . . . and I got extra pay (COLA) to do it!! It was ALL good!
