What are your five worst places to be stationed in the Army?

I’ve heard a lot of bad things about Fort Drum, but I’ve got to say I don’t really see all the big fuss. Sure I don’t have a lot to compare it too, but I’ve spent some time at Fort Bragg and for all the praise it gets I really didn’t enjoy it there too much. Guess it really just depends on the person. Except Fort Polk from what I’ve been told.

Ft. Will is a nice post, but Lawton, OK is the worst graphite to exist.The worst military town ever

After initial training those at the bottom of the barrel headed for Polk. There must have been a reason.

Fort Chaffee, Arkansas in 1995. A desolate backwater that at the time had no redeeming qualities. Well over 20 years ago, may be better now.

Ft Irwin, Fort Lee, Hunter Liggett

Five worst places to be stationed were ones with poor leadership, no care for soldiers, bad food, high humidity, and lots of sand.

Worst places: 1 Ft Polk, 2 Ft Polk, 3 Ft Polk, 4 Ft Polk, 5 Ft Polk

Some people will complain about anything. Knew a guy who constantly said Germany sucked, one day I asked him where he was stationed, he said Berchesgarden.
