What are your five worst places to be stationed in the Army?

Hunter Army Airfield, 3rd ID Fort Stewart. I pray every night I never hear dog-faced soldier again. Loved FT Bragg.

Places I never wanted to be posted and never was
1 Korea-the rock pile
2. Ft Lerner wood, MO. Ft. Belvoir, VA was home of engineers

USASG-JSA, Pan Mun Jom, Korea 3 years....Barren, cold in winter, hot in summer, banjo ditches, constant smell of human and animal feces, bad beer, at the edge of nowhere!

For the Fort Polk naysayers, it was my first duty station as enlisted. Hated it! I almost separated from the Army because of it. Went to Hawai'i, then to OCS. First duty station as an officer, FT Polk! Loved it! It was all about the unit, duty, and the leadership for me. My second time there was where I made the best Army friends. My daughter even claims it as her "hometown".

This place should be a hardship.

As a city guy, Polk was a fucking nightmare. But had some of the best party barracks ever. Geronimo!

Vicenza Italy was great
