What are your likes or dislikes about the Space Force?

Disagree on the "be a little bold" approach. Unless they're not going to have to work with anyone else in a joint environment, they'd do well to stick with stripes, bars, leaves, eagle, and stars. When the AF took a detour into making officers look like airline pilots, it flopped miserably. Yes, the Navy still has sleeve stripes on officer dress uniforms, but that's not how most go to work outside the Pentagon and some HQs.

Lt Col Mark Avery - The attached photo is of the proposed Space Force enlisted rank insignia, officer ranks will stay the same as all other branches. To me personally, it appears bland and unimaginative lacking any luster.

When the Air Force split from the Army they initially took on the same rank insignia as the Army, but they then took their own course and created what we see today. Even the average person on the street can look at Air Force enlisted ranks and think wings or flight.

What the Space Force has proposed thus far is a continuation of the Air Force, which short term is perfectly acceptable. Or that they are trying to match the Army and Marines, of course with exception to the top row which has some measure of creativity.

Lt Col Mark Avery - Now if you will, see attached just one artists proposed enlisted rank insignia for the Space Force. Just this one proposed rendition is one of many, and the reason why I think the current suggested insignia is uninspired.
