What are your thoughts on an old man flying Space-A asking other flyers for their patches?

I used to collect them but I felt like a 10yo kid saying "Mr. can I get a patch off of you?", so I quit. I can't fault him for doing it though.

I would have to say that as long as he is not being obnoxious about it, and I have a patch to spare, then no harm no foul. Chances are it brightens his day.

That's some good shit right there! Hell, he might even share an experience that's very impactful and worth repeating!

Patch collecting. My dad used to do that. If it doesn't put you out of uniform, be nice and give him one. No harm done.
