For others that haven't heard about it: http://www.northropgrumman.com/CorporateResponsibility/OperationIMPACT/Pages/default.aspx
Northrop Grumman's Operation IMPACT is a unique recruitment program that provides personalized assistance to severely injured service members transitioning from military service in identifying potential career opportunities.

MAJ (Join to see) Interesting - after looking further, it has been around at least since 2007 (first award listed on their "awards" page). I had not heard of it before today (not that that means anything). I'd be interested in seeing some more data/statistics regarding those the program has helped.

Not too long ago I retired from Northrop Grumman on disability. During the process the company continuously showed support, kept in contact keeping me up to date on my options, and I still have access to HR through the pension program. During my time there, I always felt that not only my technical expertise was valued, but my military experience as well. In my opinion, if Northrop is sponsoring the program...they are as good as their word, and it will be conducted with the highest of standards. Northrop (and the Westinghouse sectors they absorbed) learned from early mistakes and base their dealings on honesty, fidelity, and sound relationships with customer and employee alike. I know I am sounding like the NG PR guy here, but I had a remarkable time there and would highly recommend it to any service member departing active duty.

MAJ (Join to see) seems like a pretty good idea for a pretty big company. Easy way to transition, which many vets seem to have a hard time doing.
