If you feel you need protection of your rights or information on what those rights are get your military tail down to base legal. I can assure you if there are 1.3 M on active duty, there are 1.5 M opinions. One of them is shared by the 500000 who are in the legal office

Article 31(b), UCMJ (silence); United States v. Tempia (lawyer); Section III, Military Rules of Evidence (silence, search, seizure). Various Service regulations also have rules on when a person is to be advised of their rights. Many years ago, it was decided that a civilian store detective employed by AAFES is required to advise of rights.
