What Benefits May be available for a Vietnam veteran who is not service connected and is disabled?

Vietnam veteran with dementia and Alzheimers and is not receiving disability from VA. He is registered with the VA. Spouse is trying to locate resources from VA for services in the home. Veteran retired from postal service after military and is ineligible due to income for community resources.

Your best bet is to call a Veteran Service Organization like DAV, VFW, or American Legion. They have Veteran Service Officers who can help navigate the VA system. They are also likely familiar with local veteran support offerings from other smaller organizations.
