What can an SM do if their Unit intends to chapter them, but they are within 30 days of ETS (but without orders)?

Due to FG Art. 15, S/M was reduced to E-4 putting him past RCP. Since new ETS is supposed to be 6 months from date of reduction (per regulation), new date is 03 July 2017. Unit notified s/m of intent to chapter, yet JAG has not yet notified on intended board date. S/M has yet to be OFFICIALLY notified of uniform, time and place of board also. With less than one month left, what can S/M do?

No orders one month out from ETS? Did the Soldier submit an ETS packet to his BN S-1? Here at Bragg, Soldiers must submit an ETS packet no less than 90 days prior to ETS or Terminal Leave date. If he has not, he should do so ASAP! Soldier should also confer with TDS and Transition regarding this issue.

S/M has continued to talk to TDS and due to the administrative separation board and the unit recommending OTH, they want it to take as long as possible. This way S/M does not get a possible OTH resulting from an admin sep board but rather an honorable from ETS/RCP. Bringing things up to S-1/ unit level, could possibly stir the pot having adverse effects for the service member. I hope I am making sense. Would HRC possibly be able to cut ETS orders, so service member can start setting up transportation here in Germany?
