What can I do after my conditional release was approved by everyone, but is now stuck at TAG?

my conditional release got approved by everyone very quickly but now its been sitting at state commanders desk for forever seems like, is there nothing i can do at this point ? should i turn in another one and start over the process? im in a situation where i need to go active duty what steps should i take at this point ?

i know i was referring to Company-Brigade approving it fast and it just stopped at TAG for a while

ive been told TAG can keep it as long as they want, should i just wait longer ? LTC Jason Mackay

Hold tight.
Phrases, such as, "very quickly" and "forever seems like," provides those who may have been through the process zero ability to compare their experience with your experience.
Definitely don't submit a second request, and don't complain (yet).
Definitely do exercise patience, and continue to perform.
If you want better advice, provide a timeline so those with experience in this matter can provide their experiences, even though each request will have it's own timeline.
Do remember that the state doesn't have to agree to release you, so if it is denied you need to be prepared to continue to perform so a later request will have the support of lower echelons.
I would gather more information before requesting use of any open door policy.

well when i say quickly i mean Company-Brigade it went up the chain within 2/3 months when it got to TAG it sat and its been about 4/5 months since i havent heard anything since. but all i can do is wait i just want a better understanding of why im waiting for the last level to approve after so long

SGT (Join to see) I have no experience with the process, but now that those who have can know that it has been a total of 7 months, they can respond with how long their wait was.

Don't start a new one. Having two packets will make the confusion worse. I'd follow up, first through channels, and then through open door policy. My tactic would be "can you explain where we are in the process and what I can do to resolve any questions/issues?"
Keep in mind that a conditional release is not just a "paper drill", all parties have to be good with it for it to happen. Just like a voluntary TPU to TPU transfer, any party can kill it.

true, usually in my state if they deny it they'll do it quick, this not my first try and my readiness nco says its gonna get approve, "just be patient" but its been forever
