What can I do to have Finance speed up their processing of my BAH?

Is there anything i can do to have finance speed up their process for my bah ? It has been 7 months and nothing yet i have provided countless copies of every form they requiere many times and nothing yet?

Chances are that you're going to the finance front office for your post and not the actual finance office which is the DFAS on your post. The "finance" people running your finance section are usually not finance people at all, they just take your documents and sent them to DFAS. You're better off going straight to your DFAS office on post and handing them your documents yourself - but only if your stuff is locked in tight and your documents and requests are 100% correct

SFC Ryan Rodney they don't let them go to finance, but you can circumvent that by going to the DFAS building. It's always best to utilize your support channel, and it will probably require a 1SG or Company Commander getting involved to resolve it. But, if it's been seven months it means that the ball is being dropped between the finance office and DFAS, so DFAS will be the best place to get this fixed.

7 months, it was time to have a supervisor go with you about 5 months ago. On the upside, that is going to be one hell of a backpay due.

And you turned your documents in directly to Finance? You sure it wasn't your S-1 you turned it into? 9 times out of ten that's where the issue is. If the documents are correct, they don't sit on it- they process it.

SPC (Join to see) considering i just pcs'd from there and oversaw finance operations on pen I find this strange. When did you turn it in and to what finance office (Casey, Henry, Humphreys)?
Also, if you're waiting for Korea finance to do it and you're now at another duty station it isn't going to happen. You're transactions must be processed by your servicing finance office.

This was Area 4 MSG, Camp henry. Im on ROM currently so i have not in-processed yet to my new unit so i cant do finance yet. Hoping it does not take long like korea did.
