What can I expect of 2nd Brigade, 1st Cav Division?

I will be reporting there towards the end of year and wandering what to expect in order to prepare for when I get there.

Typically, I've noticed just about all the major units have Wikipedia pages, I've found them quite handy for getting at least the gist about a given unit, the same I'd also.noticed tends to be true of installations, I'd seen....

yeah, I'll definitely agree with you, of course, one just needs to learn to be selective, obviously, in looking for what one needs...what's interesting, I'd found, was how it was actually created by Bein and the other guy, they did it as an eigenvalue search, I'd read, which, once I'd understood the basic principle.as.to how they accomplished it, made.doing such searches more.accurately far.easier, as I realized the technique they were using to actually generate the hits...I just figured I'd mention that, as, quite often, most tend to just use it, utterly.oblivious to the actual technique that was originally behind it as a concept, I'd thought you might just find that aspect.of.interest, that's all I'm saying,.of course....

I was with 3rd acr which was located on the airfield I don’t know much about 1st cav, the base is huge, PX is on west fort hood, commissary is not to far from the main gate, go out the east gate you have places to eat, there are plenty of gyms and dfac’s to choose from, good luck

I spent 4 years in 3-16 FA. Expect high training tempo with lots of field time. 2ABCT is also part of the PACOM rotations so expect to likely do at least 1-2 9 month rotation to Korea while there

On 1 April 1968, the 2nd Brigade, alongside other 1st Cavalry Division elements, conducted Operation Pegasus in order to relieve the Marines at Khe Sanh. The 1st Cavalry Division completed the relief of the Marine units on 10 April and assumed responsibility for the Khe Sanh area of operations.
