Things you can do or say at basic to ensure additional smoke sessions.
I thought this would be a good way to add some humor to the discussions list.

Things like...:

- Simply ask "Why?" for anything.
- "That was easy." after getting smoked
- Complain about the heat/cold
- Touch the campaign hat.

ask your DS if he bought his hat the same place Smoky the Bear got his!
Be prepared to push until HE gets tired!

I'm guessing "smoke sessions" doesn't mean smoke breaks, and you're asking to have your ass kicked for a few hours or longer?

Suddenly drop off the radar. My Drill called me out and said " I haven't dropped you since- it must be 2 or 3 days. You're up to something. I don't know what it is but I'll find out". The next time I reported to him I made sure I had a pocket unbuttoned. After I recovered it was all good again.

Conduct Recruit Training at MCRD San Diego or MCRD Paris Island...I had plenty of smoke sessions at MARINE CORPS RECRUIT TRAINING.

Also, "letting" another recruit write in your log while on watch. Got sent to IT for that one. And lucky me stepped off the curb and fell onto the curb on my hip because it was icy on my way to IT.

I got dropped constantly for smiling. Seriously. My CC would say, "Turner-what the he'll are you smiling about? You like me or something? You want to hold my hand or something? You want to come to my house and have a barbeque, meet my wife?" I'd say (still smiling), no Chief! He'd respond, "Good! Cause I don't like you either! Drop and give me 50! And while you're at it give me 50 sit ups too, because you're looking pretty fat to me! (I wasn't)" I just found the whole thing humorous. He was easy compared to my dad.
